About Us
Since the beginning of time, prayer has been and continues to be an integral
part of Judaism. Prayer is a powerful gift that enables us to beseech our father
in heaven at all times. Jews have recited Psalms on behalf of themselves and
others for various trials and tribulations. This is especially true for someone
who is sick, known in Hebrew as a Choleh.
Society today is unfortunately experiencing an unprecedented amount of
cholim. In order to personalize our prayers on behalf cholei am yisroel, we are asking
for people to Adopt A Choleh by reciting a prayer on the choleh’s behalf
(bli neder) once a day. This prayer can be included in your daily prayers or
separately by saying a Psalm (see prayer list) .
This can be done anytime, anywhere and takes just a few moments. Nevertheless,
this mitzvah requires a degree of concentration and dedication. In this merit
may G-d grant a complete and speedy recovery to all of cholei Am Yisroel.
We ask you to join us and take part in this great mitzvah by committing
to Adopt A Choleh today. When you do so, you will
receive an e-mail within 48 hours with the name of the choleh and other
information if provided. We ask that all information regarding your choleh be
kept strictly confidential. You will receive monthly updates on the condition
of the choleh you are praying for or be able to check up on your choleh by
visiting your account page.
Thank you & Tizku L’mitzvos!
